Okay, so we all know that River Song’s real name is Melody Pond. And, that the only reason why she went on to call herself River Song is because in Let’s Kill Hitler the Doctor reveals that that is what he calls her.

The Doctor says the name you choose is like a promise.

And I think that day because of whatever he whispered in her ear as he was dying, she chose that name and made her promise.

The promise to be his River Song.

This. Seriously. Sansa doesn’t owe anyone, especially any Lannister, shit. Tyrion’s family ruined her life and her relentless ability to hold on to what she has left of it amazes me, as does Sophie Turner’s performance, for that matter.

I don’t hate Tyrion, but he’s using Sansa as a pawn (in his case, against Tywin) just like everyone else in her life right now. And he certainly doesn’t get a prize for not raping her. He could have raped her, but he didn’t. And Sansa could shove a fork through that fucking douche Joffrey’s eye, but she didn’t, and you don’t see people praising her for that.
